What TV’s support 1080p through component cables?

I am looking at a Samsung HLT5087SAX 50-inch Slim LED Engine 1080p DLP HDTV…i want to know if this tv supports 1080p through componet cables. i also want to know all the tv’s that support 1080p through componet cabels. Thanks for any help
I heard Microsoft came out with an update that allowed the people with the older version of the 360 to get 1080p through their component cables. Since the older ones didnt have HDMI.

This is why i wanted a tv that could display 1080p through the component cables.

In the last couple of years, there has been a big influx of HDTVs with 1080p native resolution, which typically cost a good deal more than their lower-resolution counterparts. But as we’ve been saying all along, once you get to high-def, the difference between resolutions becomes much more difficult to appreciate. We’ve done side-by-side tests between two 46-inch LCD HDTVs, one with 1366×768 resolution and the other with 1080p resolution, using the same 1080i source material, and it was extremely difficult for us to see any difference. It becomes even more difficult at smaller screen sizes or farther seating distances–say, more than 1.5 times the diagonal measurement of the screen. We’ve reviewed a 37-inch 1080p LCD, for example, where it was impossible to see the separation between horizontal lines at farther than 45 inches away.

What is the best 32 to 40" LED TV with 120hz 1080p to purchase?

And if there is not specific tv’s available to those details. What Tv’s are not CCFL backlit. But are RGB back lit or HCFL? .. that i could purchase instead? I only ask this because i want true white light backlighting for true color and contrast.
Lol yeah but bigger = more money, plus more room, im a college student with limited space in my room as well. i could use a wall mount but i would like to stay around 32-40 – 46 would be max max size.

I recommend Samsung UN40C6300 40-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV (Black).

sony is the best choice having all features in that price range. it provides best picture quality, good overall performance and good durability. value for money products. also the service after sales is better than others.

How do i hook up a playstation 2 to a samsung led tv, which does not have a A/V hook up?

The Samsung led tvs do not have the red/yellow/white hook up but they do have a hdmi, Dvi, Pc/ Dvi, usb, Hdd, and composite cable. Can i buy anything to get my playstation 2 to work with it?

My samsung led tv came with 2 extra cables. You can plug the cables in the tv in what looks like a mic port, and you will then have the red/yellow/white hook up on the other end. The second cable you can plug in is for Component. You should have a picture on the back of the tv where you can see where you should plug in which cable.

What is a good reliable speaker system?

I just bought an LED tv and need some good speakers, since its an LG and it doesnt really project the sound too well…what is a good reliable speaker system…not trying to break the bank either…also what does 5.1 channel or 7.2 mean??

I like Infinity speakers, not THE best, but price-performance is hard to beat.
5.1 is a 5 speaker system with subwoofer,
7.2 is 7 speaker with 2 Independent surround channels – getting a little over the top!
